5-inch OGee Gutters

5-inch Ogee

5-inch Ogee gutter is the most common. 5-inch Ogee Gutter is a lot smaller than 5 1/4" Fascia gutter even though they are both called 5-inch gutters. Fascia is measured by the depth of the gutter while Ogee is measured from the width of the gutter. Ogee gutters should only be installed over fascia boards. The gutter itself is not deep enough to cover the bottoms of the rafter tails.

6-inch OGee Gutters

6-inch Ogee

6-inch Ogee gutters are big enough to handle the same load as a fascia gutter. They can hold almost twice the volume as the 5-inch Ogee. Ogee is more of your vintage roman ogee style or Victorian style with the fancy curves. Ogee gutters should only be installed over fascia boards, as the gutter itself is not deep enough to cover the bottoms of the rafter tails.
